Fire Alarm Monitoring

In the event of a fire, your fire alarm system sends a signal to our Alarm Receiving Centre who can then either call the Fire Brigade immediately, or review the situation before calling them.

Why do I need Fire Alarm Monitoring?

More than 70% of fires start after normal working hours, and if your premises are unattended, vital minutes can pass before a ringing bell gets noticed, and even if it was heard, would you be confident a passer by would react accordingly and call the appropriate services?

Even if the building is occupied, what happens if the person who would raise the alarm is trapped by the fire?

Fires can spread quickly, so the sooner the Fire Brigade are called, the less damage will result.

We install and maintain the appropriate equipment to BS 5839-1:2002 for service and maintenance of Automatic Fire Detection and Alarm Equipment.

It is not advisable to have your fire alarm linked to an intruder alarm as the fire alarm may need to be activated independently of the intruder alarm.
