Helping Associated Capital Theatre
As part of a major refit, we installed a fire alarm system and audible PA system to meet fire regulations. Since then we have carried out a further refit and upgraded the audible PA system.
During the initial installation we installed some temporary burglar alarms while the contractors were on site. This enabled the client to protect some specific areas while the work was being carried out.
The more recent upgrade went smoothly. Mick Stephen, Group Engineer at Curzon Cinemas, commented:
"The upgrade was carried out on the day SectorGuard said it would be and overnight as requested so that all screenings were unaffected.The service is good, and we get good support if an alarm is activated inadvertently. We can re-set most things ourselves, but SectorGuard come in promptly when they are required. All the quarterly services are carried out on time and professionally.
At one point we were getting problems with the people in the kiosk and the Box Office setting off the alarms, so SectorGuard worked with us to direct the alarm call to the Manager’s office first. This has resolved the issues completely.
SectorGuard were also helpful when we raised a concern about when we had contractors on site who needed to prop external fire doors open to run pipes or cables into the building. Propping the doors open was setting off a buzzer, so they installed isolation switches to prevent this happening."
